Before you invite someone into your home, you should know them.
I’m Dennis “Dee” Batten. I’ve spent more than 20 years working with private families and executives as a household manager and personal assistant. I’ve been trusted with the routines of a home, the people who work in it, the vendors at its door, travel and schedules that cannot fall apart, and projects that need close attention. I know that giving someone access to your home and your family’s day takes trust. My job is to earn it by listening carefully, doing what we agreed, and telling you plainly what happened.

I’ve helped families with the ordinary details that can make a day difficult, travel plans with many moving parts and larger projects that involve many people. Sometimes you need me there for one visit. Sometimes it helps to have someone who learns the household and stays involved. We can begin with what’s happening now and see what kind of relationship would be useful.

I want to understand how your home actually works.
We’ll talk about the people, places, commitments and preferences that shape your day, and where you want to stay involved. Before work starts, we agree on access, spending, decisions, and updates. As I get to know your household, you won’t have to explain the same background every time.
Discretion by design
Your home is personal. So is the information that comes with it.
We ask for only what we need to understand the initial request. When work is agreed, we establish who can receive information, which channels to use and how access will be handled.
Household information belongs with the people who need it for the agreed work.
A mutual or client-provided agreement can be reviewed before an engagement begins.
Vendors, household contacts and Xecutive Services work from one agreed communication plan.

In person in Orange County and Los Angeles. By arrangement in New York City, Florida, Arizona, Dallas and Indiana. Virtual coordination nationally, within an agreed scope.
