How an engagement works.
The practical terms behind the promise, stated plainly.
How it begins
Every engagement starts with a conversation. You send a note or request a released conversation window; a requested time remains a request until we confirm it directly with you. There is no payment at the request step. Before any work begins, we agree in writing on the scope, the time allowance, access, spending approvals, decision rights, reporting and timing.

The time allowance tells you how much help is included. Prices are arrangements for experienced support, not a menu of interchangeable hourly labor.
What is separate
Vendor fees, purchases, tickets, supplies, equipment and other outside costs are separate and are approved by you before they are incurred. Travel arrangements and any travel costs are agreed before work begins.
Response expectations and communication
Response windows, preferred channels and who may receive information are agreed as part of each engagement, before it starts.
Cancellations and changes
Rescheduling and cancellation terms are set out in the written engagement agreement before work begins, so both sides know exactly where they stand.
Confidentiality
Household information belongs with the people who need it for the agreed work. A mutual or client-provided NDA can be reviewed before an engagement begins. Vendors, household contacts and Xecutive Services work from one agreed communication plan.
Boundaries of the role
Our role is experienced coordination and oversight within the scope you approve. Direct childcare, veterinary care, licensed trades, emergency response and other specialist work remain with the qualified professionals you select; we coordinate with them.
